Die Setter - 2nd Shift
Description
Set up and operate progressive dies using various metal stamping presses. Maintain the presses and production schedule, as required. Record daily activity and communicate with other support activities.
Responsibilities
- Start up approved jobs to run.
- Change coils, reels, empty jars of parts.
- Keep track of hours and record on press sheets and PMS.
- Bring parts to Q.C. for approval.
- Set-up new jobs take out jobs that finish, make adjustments on dies.
- Dump scrap.
Qualifications
- HS graduate or equivalent
- Minimum of 2-4 years machine experience using die technology.
- Experience must include setting up and running progressive stamping dies and inspection capability.
